ACCOMMODATION & GUARANTEED ENTRY TOUR

The 43rd Paris Marathon, Europe’s biggest and one of the world’s best marathons, takes place on Sunday, April 14th and starts at 8.45am on the Avenue des Champs Elysees. The finish area is on Avenue Foch nearby, close to the Arc de Triomphe. The marathon route takes in most of the world-famous Paris landmarks, including the Arc de Triomphe, the Bastille, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower.

As the official Irish Tour Operator, we can guarantee your place in the Paris Marathon, regardless of your previous times, if any. The official time limit is 5 hours 40 mins. Thereafter participants must respect the Highway Code.  

We recommend immediate booking as demand is high and places are limited. Non-running partners or friends are most welcome on the Tour.

The standard tour dates are Friday 12 April / Monday 15 April.

Located close to the iconic Champs Elysees in the heart of the city, with easy access from CDG and Orly airports via the RER and Metro, or by bus directly to the bus station just a 5-minute walk away. The Mercure Wagram is in a fantastic location and has a cosy and stylish ambiance. It is just a few minutes’ walk to/from the race start and finish at the Arc de Triomphe (“Etoile”). The hotel offers excellent service, including 24-hour reception, concierge and room service. Facilities include a restaurant and Le Bar.

Standard rooms include internet, TV, aircon, minibar, tea/coffee-making facilities, and free Wi-Fi. All bathrooms have a deep-soak tub, very welcome after the marathon! The Mercure Wagram is a 100% non-smoking hotel

3*** Ibis Paris Cambronne Tour Eiffel

Located in the heart of the city, with easy access from the airports via RER and Metro, it is just a few minutes’ walk from the Eiffel Tower and a short Metro trip to start and finish at the Arc de Triomphe (“Etoile”). While the rooms are relatively small, typical of Paris, it is a comfortable hotel with good service, including 24-hour reception and concierge service. Facilities include L’Estaminet restaurant, 24-hour snack service, private outdoor terrace (on warm days!) and three bars – champagne, wine and street food bar.

Rooms include internet and TV. All rooms have aircon and free Wi Fi. The Ibis Cambronne is a 100% non-smoking hotel.

BREAKFAST RUN 5K (€10 estimated cost – price to be confirmed by Paris)

This is a very nice event on Saturday morning, starting on Ave Foch and crossing the Seine in front of the Eiffel Tower and finishing just beyond the Champs de Mars, just below the Eiffel Tower. Non-marathon runners can also participate in the Breakfast Run. A bag with a light breakfast is served at the finish

N.B: Under French law, all marathon participants MUST provide a medical certificate with their race entry. We will send you this document for completion by your GP on receipt of your booking.
