We are excited to announce our new partnership with the Community Self Reliance Centre (CSRC), aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and secure land tenure in marginalized communities. CSRC has long been an advocate for the rights of landless and impoverished communities, and their commitment aligns perfectly with our mission. Together, we are scaling our successful model of fruit and nut tree donations to empower more people and create lasting impact. Through pilot programs in the hills with Sherpa and Newar communities, we’re promoting the donation and passing on the gift of trees to neighbouring communities. This collaboration ensures that our infrastructure and facilitators can continue their work, amplifying the impact of development and community-led action to create new livelihoods in the regions where CSRC operates. With their expertise and knowledge of government aid, we’re confident that scaling and funding efforts will be matched, and implementation can create meaningful impact.
